Celtic Thunder will highlight its latest album Legacy will be hitting the road and Playhouse Square for Celtic Thunder's annual visit.
Favorite Celtic Thunder soloists return Aug. 31 for one 8 p.m. State Theatre concert, reunited with their very special guest: original member Damian McGinty (who went on to win Fox-TV's "The Glee Project" before landing a recurring role as Rory Flanagan in the hit TV series Glee.)
Tickets for Celtic Thunder's Legacy are available at playhousesquare.org, 216-241-6000 and the Ticket Office.
Their new show Legacy celebrates the influence of Irish and Celtic music worldwide and the imprint such music has made. In addition to the Legacy material, Celtic Thunder soloists Colm Keegan, Keith Harkin, Ryan Kelly, Emmet O'Hanlon and Neil Byrne will offer up fan favorite songs from all their Public Television specials plus and a wide variety of solo selections. Celtic Thunder is backed, as always, by the Celtic Thunder Band.

Celtic Thunder has also been hailed as BILLBOARD's "Top World Music Artist," along with "Top World Music Imprint" and "Top World Album" of in 2008, 2009 and again in 2011. The Celtic Thunder official YouTube channel, "Thunder Tube" has seen over 77 million uploads since 2008. Celtic Thunder is backed by the dynamic Celtic Thunder Band and their shows are known for the use of dramatic effects of lighting and choreography as well as a stage set resembling an ancient stone pathway, suggestive of those referenced in Celtic lore.
