Breakfast With

Bunny & Friends

When: March 30, starting at 8 a.m.

Where: Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens, 714 North Portage Path in Akron.

Cost: $24 for children up to age 9, and $22 for everyone ages 10 and older, including adults. Tickets to the Egg Hunt-only are $12 for children up to age 9, $8 for everyone 10 and older, including adults. Member prices are available.

Guests can have a buffet-style breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. and be treated to a ride on the Easter "Eggpress." After breakfast, the egg hunt, a tradition for many, takes place on the grounds from 10 a.m. tonoon for children ages 9 and under.

Throughout the morning, special guests including the Easter bunny, Little Bo Peep, Mother Goose and Little Red Riding Hood and others will visit with guests and offer storytelling. Only the Manor House Auditorium (for the breakfast) and the grounds are open for the breakfast and egg hunt. This event is by reservation only and limited tickets are available.

The day's activities will begin at 10 a.m. with game booths and touch a truck event. The Easter Bunny will arrive at 10:15 a.m. via fire truck.

Beginning at 10:30 a.m. free photos with the Easter Bunny will be available sponsored by the Ravenna Giant Eagle. Photos are one per family with pictures available for pick up at Ravenna Giant Eagle photo lab at a later date.

The following are egg hunt times:

10:15 a.m.: Children ages 1 to 18 years with disabilities

11 a.m.: Children ages 1 to 2 years

11:10 a.m.: Children ages 7 to 8 years

11:20 a.m.: Children ages 9 to 10 years

11:30 a.m.: Children ages 3 to 4 years

11:40 a.m.: Children ages 5 to 6 years

All booths will close at 11:45 a.m. Eggs will contain candy and special prize tickets and there will be candy for all children. Gift baskets and prizes are compliments of Ravenna Giant Eagle Eagle's Nest. Easter eggs and candy compliments of the Ravenna Women of the Moose No. 540 and Ravenna Giant Eagle Eagle's Nest.

Fairview Cemetery Association

Easter Egg Hunt

When: March 23, noon-1:30 p.m.

Where: Boston Heights Fire Department, 15 E. Boston Mills Road, Boston Heights

Refreshments, coloring and visit from the Easter Bunny will take place from noon to 12:30. The Easter egg hunt begins promptly at 12:30. Bring a basket. Parents are asked to remain at the event to supervise their children. Return all eggs to the labeled boxes. An Easter basket raffle and the announcements of contest winners and prizes will take place from 1:15 to 1:30 p.m.

Christ Community Church Easter Egg Hunt

When: March 30, noon

United Methodist Church in Stow Easter Egg Hunt

Cornerstone Community Church Easter Egg Hunt

For children up to 12 years old from all the surrounding communities. Kids will be grouped according to age and will participate in games, crafts, the telling of the Easter story and, of course, the egg hunt which will include all kinds of candy and lots of prizes. Refreshments will be provided for everyone.

Waterworks Park

Easter Egg Hunt

When: March 30, 1-3 p.m.

The free event includes pony rides, a petting zoo, the egg hunt and more. The hunt for Easter candy and eggs begins at 2 p.m. There will be separate hunt areas for children ages 3 to 4, 5 to 6, and 7 to 8. Judging for the best-decorated Easter egg will begin at 1:30 p.m., with divisions for ages 3 to 4, 5 to 6, 7 to 8 and family. Pre-decorated eggs should be brought in a scene or container marked with the participant's name and division. The Easter Bunny also will be available for pictures.

Silver Lake Police Association

Faith United Methodist Preschool Community Egg Hunt

There will be pictures with the Bunny and winners for special baskets. Participants should bring an item to collect eggs in and prepare for the weather; the event will be scheduled rain or shine.

Ellet Grace Brethren Church Community

Easter Egg Hunt

When: March 30, 10 a.m.

Where: Ellet Grace Brethren Church, 530 Stetler Ave., Akron

The morning begins with an outdoor Easter Egg Hunt with thousands of eggs filled with surprises, and then continues indoors with entertainment, door prizes, and a photo with the Easter Bunny. Separate egg hunts are provided for three age groups: age 3 and under (Mom or Dad may help), age 4 to 6, and age 7 to 9.
