Other Vocal solos include: Michael Murray’s rendition of I Want You Back, and an updated arrangement of Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy featuring the vocal talents of Bailey Bender, Randi Mohr, Hannah Shull and our own bugle boy Nick Lavy. Other selections include Singing in the Rain, Rock and Roll Remembered (Remembering American Band Stand and Dick Clark), Highlights from Jersey Boys, performed by the SMF Concert Choir, Stool Pigeon, a percussion piece written in the style of the movement group STOMP, Barry Manilow’s Copacabana and even Polka Music.
The second half of the American Concert Concert will include multimedia tributes to those in our area who are currently serving, or have served in the armed forces or those have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
