GriefCare Place

All grief support groups are at no cost. All groups will meet at The GriefCare Place at 4499 Darrow Road in Stow in the Keystone Vet building entrance in rear. Call the office for further information and detailed directions at 330-686-1750 or email: griefcareplace@att.net Monthly meeting calendars are posted on the website, www.thegriefcareplace.org.

The GriefCare Place, serving grievers from 66 communities in Northeast Ohio, has been committed since 1997 to bring hope and healing to broken hearts caused by the death of a loved one. Call the office for further information.

Group Sessions

Widowed Men's Group -- This group is designed for men who have experienced the death of a spouse. This group will meet on Jan. 23 at 7 p.m. Led by Mike Farmer.

HALO Hope After Loss to Overdose -- A group for adults dealing with a loss of a loved one due to drug overdose or addiction. This group will meet for the first time on Jan. 25 at 7 p.m., and led by Christine Reinhard, B.A.; M.A. and Lauren Welsh.

Other Adult Losses -- An ongoing monthly support group for adults grieving the death of a parent, sibling, close friend, partner, or relative other than a spouse or child. This group will meet on Jan. 26 at 7 p.m. Led by Carrie Sensius.

LAUGHTER is the BEST MEDICINE -- The fundraiser will be Feb. 10 benefiting the GriefCare Place. It will be at the Cuyahoga Falls Natatorium at 7 p.m. Sponsored by Western Reserve Hospital, City of Cuyahoga Falls and The GriefCare Place.
