Audiology Screening -- Local senior citizens and anyone concerned about losing their hearing are invited to an audiology screening by Christopher Whitten, Au.D., CCC-A - Audiologist and owner of Ascent Audiology & Hearing in Stow on Oct. 12 at 1:30 p.m.

Your hearing health is important to the quality of life you lead. Whitten, a local licensed audiologist will meet with you one-on-one to answer your questions; including a hearing screening for any specific concerns. Inspection and cleaning of hearing aids will be done for those individuals who wear them.

There is no fee but reservations are required and can be made by calling Anne DiCola at Munroe Falls City Hall at 330-688-7491.

Programs take place at the Lehner Community Center, 35 South River Road, Munroe Falls

Cards -- Fridays at noon. A variety of games are played.

Dominoes -- First and third Tuesday of each month at 12:30 p.m.

Bridge Club --Third Monday of each month at 1 p.m.

At Guise Park

Guise Park's Horseshoe Pit - Regulation horseshoe pit, standard and senior foul lines. Sign out horseshoes at city hall or bring your own. Open play.

Senior 55+ -- STOW

Call the Stow Parks & Recreation Department at 330-689-5100 for details on the Senior Activities. The Stow Senior Center is at 3968 Darrow Road. Open hours are Tuesdays and Thursday from noon to 3 p.m. and during scheduled programs.

Monte Carlo Luncheon -- Oct. 7 at noon. Pre-register.

Fall Fling Dance -- Oct. 21. Gene Fiocca Band. Fee. Pre-register

Beginner Line Dance Lessons -- Thursdays at 3 p.m. at Stow Senior Center. Fee.

Craft Workshop- Fall Wreath -- Oct. 21 at 10:30 a.m. Make a decorative wreath.

Stow Hiking Group -- Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. Travel to various trails to hike with group.

Pickleball -- Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 8 p.m. at Silver Springs Park Tennis Courts.

Bike Group Stow Slow Rollers -- Thursday mornings at 10:30 a.m.

Brain Games -- First and third Thursdays 1 p.m. Group puzzles and games to give your brain a workout.

Senior Fitness Classes SEmD Cardio Fit Tuesday 9:15 a.m.; Seated Yoga Tuesdays 10:15 a.m.

Senior Stretch -- 9:15 a.m. Thursdays; Strength & Tone 10:15 a.m. Thursdays. All Fitness Classes Silver Sneakers or Punch Card.

Chair Massage SEmD Neck, back and shoulders Second Fridays of Month. Appointment required. There is a fee.

Foot Care Appointments -- Nail trim, callous reduction and more. Call for appointment. Fee

Hearing Checks Appointments -- Hearing screening with Ascent Audiology. No fee.

Mah Jongg SEmD First and third Tuesdays 12:30 p.m. For those who know the game.

Breakfast Buddies SEmD Third Friday of each month 9 a.m. Meet at an area restaurant to share good food and conversation. Call to register and for restaurant of the month.

Health Screens SEmD Second Thursday noon to 1 p.m. Glucose, Blood Pressure.

Cards SEmD Wednesdays 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Stow Senior Center. A variety of card games are played, a partner is not required to participate.

Evening Cards and Chess SEmD First Monday each month 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Variety of card games and chess.

Chess Group SEmD Third Tuesdays 12:30 to 3 p.m. Chess players of all skill levels.

Senior Bingo SEmD Second and fourth Thursday of each month 1 p.m. $1 for 10 games at Stow Senior Center

Dominoes SEmD Second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 12:30 p.m. No cost. Learn to play this great social game.

Friendly Visitors SEmD Third Thursday 1 p.m. Visits local senior living facilities for group talk.

Senior Bowling at Stow Kent Entertainment SEmD Thursday mornings. New bowlers and subs are welcome. Contact Jack Garner at 330-688-5340.

Travel Lunch Bunch SEmD Enjoy a new restaurant each month as you travel by bus to an out of town location. Bus fee and order off menu. Call for destinations.

Stow Sunshiners

The Stow Sunshiners host a Monthly Luncheon at Stow-Glen Retirement Village. The luncheon is open to area senior adults 55+ and features a catered lunch for $8. The next luncheon is scheduled for Oct. 3.
