Signs of spring are finally showing up all over, and it would not be spring in the greater Summit County area without the annual "Blooming Brunch," the popular fundraiser now in its 13th year, sponsored by The GriefCare Place.

This year's event, which will include a silent auction, will take place on May 2 from 10:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Silver Lake Country Club, 1325 Graham Road in Silver Lake. Bidding on silent auction items will begin immediately after the doors open.

The featured guest speaker this year will be Lisa Ryan. Come hear her talk on "Grategy." You know, your gratitude strategy -- Grategy? Ryan wants to know, and if you don't have one, she'll help you define one. Ryan knows just how powerful gratitude can be and will share that power.

Lisa Ryan, the owner of Grategy, is a nationally recognized professional speaker and gratitude expert who specializes in teaching corporations, associations, and non-profits the power of gratitude. She has been featured in two films and is the author of five books. She is a professional member of the National Speakers Association and Toastmasters International. She has a bachelor's degree and a MBA from Cleveland State University.

For ticket costs, sponsorships or reservations, which must be in by April 28, contact The GriefCare Place at 330-686-1750 or at griefcareplace@att.net.
