ST. STEPHEN LUTHERAN CHURCH

Sunday morning services are at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Sunday School, for all school-age children, is from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

Adult Learning Programs: Men in Mission Bible Study each Saturday from 8-9:30 a.m.; Women's Bible Study each Thursday from 10-11:30 a.m.;Crossways Bible Study - each Thursday from 7-9 p.m.

The J.O.Y. (Just Older Youth) Group meets for breakfast on the second Monday of each month at 9 a.m. at the Stow Caf.

The third Sunday of each month has been designated as Bridge Sunday. Plan to meet and pack Bridge Bags after the 11 a.m. service.

Do you love to crochet of knit? Or would you like to learn how? A new group is forming called Crocheting/Knitting For A Cause. The group will meet once a month, starting March 11 from 8:30-10 a.m. to crochet and knit scarves, hats mittens and afghans for Harvest Home. Any questions, contact the church office.

The Book Club meets each Sunday through March 26 from 4-5:30 p.m. The group is reading "Miracles from Heaven: A Little Girl, Her Journey to Heaven and Her Amazing Story of Healing."

GRACE BIBLE CHURCH

Grace Bible Church meets at 2474 Graham Road, just east of Charring Cross, in Stow. The Sunday morning service starts at 10 a.m.

Men's Saturday Morning Bible Study meets at Panera Bread in Stow Saturday mornings from 8 to 9. The group is studying The Gospel of John. Bring a Bible and join the group for coffee, bagels and God's Word.

The Women's Bible Study meets on Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and is listening to Priscilla Shirer's study on "Discerning the Voice of God."

Grace Bible Church is a Bible teaching church grounded in the expository teaching of God's Word and following Jesus Christ for life.

UNITED METHODIST CHURCH IN STOW

The United Methodist Church in Stow has Sunday worship at 8:30 a.m. (Praise) and 10:45 a.m. (Traditional). Sunday school for all ages is at 9:30 a.m.

Kids' Church and nursery care are offered at both services.

Movie Night will be in the sanctuary on March 10, 6:30 p.m. for a showing of "Jesus Christ Superstar." The movie is free. Bring a snack to share. Discussion will follow the movie. Wear your best 1970s clothes to celebrate this 1973 classic.

CHURCH OF NEW HOPE

The Church of New Hope invites all to worship and share Christ's love each Sunday morning at 10 a.m. and Wednesdays at 7 p.m. Pastor Jon Soza will bring the message this Sunday. March is Missions Month at New Hope. Jim and Meg Thacker, missionaries to Madagascar will be with us. Next Sunday, March 12th, Ken and Sherri Patrick representing Builders International will be our guests. Come and hear what's happening in other parts of the world!

Wednesday night features programs for all ages. Groups meet at the church from 7 to 8:15 p.m.

Under the direction of Children's Pastor, the Rev. Elizabeth Kargbo and her team provide children ages 4 to 11 with a time of Bible teaching on their level, memory verses, crafts, fun, and snacks.

Pastor Dalia Soza is providing interesting and fun times for youth. She and Pastor Soza are eager to meet young people and their friends. Teens, invite someone to come with you and find out what this group is about. The group meets in the Student Ministries Room on Wednesday nights. Adults meet in the sanctuary for Bible study. Pastor Jon Soza is leading the group in a look at the life of Jesus. Invite a friend and join in this challenging study.

New Hope Learning Center provides quality, loving Christian care for children ages 3-12 years old. There is room for additional children. Call Kristen at 330-688-9970 for information. If you're looking for quality preschool care for your children, or before- and after-school care, New Hope Learning Center is a safe, secure place for kids ages 3-12.

There is a green recycle bin at the edge of the parking lot just off Route 91 and next to the church sign. Cardboard and bagged shredded paper are also accepted. Proceeds are helping fund a missions trip that's in the planning stage.

2017 Lenten Series - Catholicism: The Pivotal Players is a film series that illuminates saints, artists, mystics and scholars who not only shaped the life of the Catholic Church but changed the course of civilization. Each session will be presented twice on Mondays during Lent, led by a Holy Family Parish staff member and will include time for discussion and questions. March 6, 13, 20, 27 and April 3. Times 8:45-10:15 a.m. and 7:00-8:30 p.m. Room 1 of the Lower Church Hall. No RSVP is necessary.

The Story of Salvation - Young Adults 8-week Bible study on Thursdays from 7-8 p.m. in the lower church hall through April 6. The group will be studying the "The Story of Salvation" with the hope of learning how we fit into God's plan for the human race. You are welcome to attend any or all of the sessions. HOPE LUTHERAN CHURCH

Bible teacher Kinney deHamel will speak on the topic "I Love to Tell the Story" at Hope Lutheran Church on March 30 at 7 p.m.The free presentation will include encouraging stories of people finding Jesus and inspiring ways to help the hurting and and seeking people in one's own life. Refreshments will be served.

Kinney DeHamel has been a teacher for nearly 30 years. She became a Christian while trying to prove that the Bible is false. Since then, she has had a heart for the hurting and those who seek truth and meaning for their lives, and has had many experiences teaching prayer, evangelism and spiritual growth in venues as diverse as children's Sunday School and prison ministry.

This program is sponsored by the Women of Hope. Hope Lutheran Church is located at 456 S Chillicothe Road, Aurora.

FAITH LUTHERAN CHURCH

Dinner is being served March 10 at Faith Lutheran Church from 4 to 6:30 p.m.

Dinner will include corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, carrots, Soup, Poor Man's Lobster, Salad Bar, Rolls, Dessert Table and Beverage.

The cost is Adults $10, Children $5, under 5 years eat free. Carryout is available.

Sunday Worship with Pastor Jim Case begins at 10:30 a.m. Children's Sunday School is at 10:30 a.m. and Adult Bible Study at 9 a.m. Nursery care is provided for children through age 4.

Wednesday Morning Prayer with the Pastor -- Meet with Pastor Case on Wednesday mornings at 9 a.m. for prayer in the sanctuary, followed by fellowship and coffee.

The Darrow Street Grange meets at the church on the second Tuesday of each month at 1 p.m. On March 11, the Joshua Stow Chapter of the DAR is hosting a Euchre tournament to raise money for Freedom House in Kent. The doors will open at 6 p.m. at the Stow Community Church with play beginning at 6:30.
