Summer Sunday Worship With Pastor Jim Case begins at 10 a.m. through Sept. 4. The Fall schedule begins on Sept. 11, with worship starting at 10:30 am. Children's Sunday School at 10:30 a.m. and Adult Bible Study at 9 a.m. begin on Sept. 18.

Nursery care is provided for children through age 4.°

Wednesday Morning°Prayer With The Pastor- Meet with Pastor Case°on Wednesday mornings at 9 a.m.°for prayer in the sanctuary, followed by fellowship and coffee.

Adult Bible Study (9 a.m. in the parlor) and Children's Sunday School (during worship) meet September through May on Sunday mornings. Everyone is welcome.

Everyone is invited to the next Spaghetti Supper Sept. 16, from 4 to 7 p.m. Chef salad and carry-out are available.

Lutheran Church

Resurrection Lutheran Church invites the community to its fall programs. Study for ages 3 and up begins on Sept. 11 at 9 a.m. A monthly fellowship/study group to improve marriages will be starting, using Rick Warren's "Awesome: Building Great Relationships" video series. Lutheran Church

Sunday morning services are at 8:30 and 11 a.m. Sunday School, for all school-age children, is from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

Bell Choir Rehearsals will begin Aug. 29 from 7-8:30 p.m. All are welcome.

The J.O.Y. (Just Older Youth) Group will be going to the MAPS Air Museum in North Canton on Wed., Aug. 31 and enjoying lunch at the Twisted Olive. Meet at the church at 10 a.m. to car pool. The cost is $7 for seniors. There is a sign-up in the narthex.

United Methodist Church in Stow

The United Methodist Church in Stow has /one blended worship service on Sundays this summer at /9/:30 a.m. The church will end its summer schedule on Sept. 11 with two services at 8:30 a.m. (Praise) and 10:45 a.m. (Traditional).

The Community Clothing Closet will open on Sept. 10, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for Stow and Munroe Falls schoolchildren. Adults should bring their children to the church's main doors on the east side that day. Each child will receive a bag of gently used clothes for the school year. Some school supplies will also be available.

Twin Falls United Methodist Church

Sunday worship service at 10:45 a.m. There also is a "Kid's Own Worship" each Sunday at 10:45 a.m. for children in kindergarten through fifth grade.

Church of New Hope

The Church of New Hope invites all to worship and share Christ's love each Sunday morning at 10 a.m. and Wednesdays at 7 p.m. On Aug. 28, Pastor Joel will continue his series on the Book of Revelation. The last in the series will be presented Sept. 4.

Wednesday night features programs for all ages. Groups meet at the church from 7 to 8:15 p.m.

Under the direction of Children's Pastor, the Rev. Elizabeth Kargbo and her team have begun the new year of AWANA. Children 4 to 11 will enjoy this time of Bible teaching on their level, memory verses, crafts, fun, and snacks. Pastor Mark Lindberg is eager to meet all teens and their friends Wednesday night at 7 p.m. in the Student Ministries room. Teens may invite someone to come with them and find out what this group is about.

Adults meet in the sanctuary for Bible study. Pastor Joel is continuing an enlightening study of the Book of Acts. The group enjoys a time of rich teaching, prayer, and fellowship. It's a great midweek lift. Meet in the sanctuary at 7 p.m.

Community Church

Sunday morning worship celebrations begin at 10 a.m. The Cornerstone Cafe is open from 9:30 to 9:50 a.m. and immediately after the service with refreshments provided "on the house."

Singer / Songwriter Michael Card is one of contemporary Christian music's pioneers. The songs "El Shaddai" and "Love Crucified Arose" put him in the international spotlight just out of college. "Joy In the Journey" and "Jubilee" along with several other #1 songs would follow. He will be in Stow Sept. 9-11 for what he calls a Biblical Imagination Conference. His knowledge of and love for the Bible uniquely qualify him to lead this event. Pastor Dan Page says, "Michael Card is one of the most brilliant scholars I know. He has the amazing ability to take complex theological profundities and make them accessible and understandable to everyone. His commitment to scripture calls him to keep calling people to seek God with an informed imagination. The truth has to travel from the head to heart for it do what God intends. This weekend's focus will be on the Old Testament word hesed which is the New Testament's equivalent of agape. They express God's unconditional loving kindness which flow from the reality that God is love. It's going to be a great time topped off with a concert at the Stow Presbyterian Church open to everyone Sunday evening."

The conference begins Sept. 9 at 7 p.m., runs Sept. 10 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with the Sunday evening concert at 7 at Stow Presbyterian Church. Tickets will be available up to the evening of Sept. 9 at the door for the conference and the evening of Sept. 11 for the concert if they haven't sold out before. On that Sunday morning, Card will be singing and speaking at Cornerstone for the regular 10 a.m. celebration.

Holy Family Catholic Church

Registration has begun for PSR, Sunday School, First Communion and a brand new program, Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. Many programs for children ages Kindergarten through eighth grade start in the fall. A new program is being introduced as well for ages 3 and 4.
