Networking on the Go! 8 Chambers of Commerce
Join us on Nov. 4, as the Stow-Munroe Falls Chamber of Commerce joins seven other local Chambers of Commerce, for the "First Friday Networking on the Go" event. These events are on the first Friday of every month from 8-9 a.m. at Great Lakes Honda, 43 Pruitt Blvd, Akron.
As a member benefit, we will be joining the members of the following participating Chambers of Commerce: Cuyahoga Falls; Hudson; Fairlawn; Kent; Streetsboro; Tallmadge; and Twinsburg. If you are not a member of one of the participating chambers, you are welcome to attend two times before joining one of the participating Chambers.

Biannual Economic Development
The Stow-Munroe Falls Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Committee will host its Biannual Business Breakfast on Nov. 3, from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at 4301 Darrow Road (Stratford Building), Suite 2500, Stow.
The speaker will be Officer Ryan Schulz, Stow Police Department. Officer Schulz's topic is: Effective Practices for Dealing with "Active Threats in the Workplace," utilizing the A.L.I.C.E. concept (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate.)

Leadership Class 2016-17
The Stow-Munroe Falls Chamber of Commerce is accepting applications for the upcoming 201617 Adult Leadership Class, scheduled to start on Dec. 6, with an evening orientation meeting. The group will meet twice a month for five months, (half-day sessions) beginning in January 2017.
One class day each month is set aside to focus on professional and personal development & growth, with leadership coaching by Ned Parks of New Directions Learning. The second meeting day of the month is to learn more about the communities we serve and the surrounding area through onsite visits.
