CLEVELAND (AP) -- A bus driver for the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority has died after a crash in University Heights.
Police say 53-year-old Christopher Battle was driving a bus around 3:30 p.m. Sunday when it ran onto a sidewalk near a grocery store and went across a road. Two cars hit the bus and the bus hit a signal control box.
The Plain Dealer reports (bit.ly/RyOw5K) that three people have been taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Sgt. Mark McArter says police are awaiting an autopsy to determine Battle's cause of death. He says, "It might have been a medical issue."
