TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) -- Authorities say a crackdown on gangs in Toledo netted 38 arrests and thousands of dollars in seized drugs.
The (Toledo) Blade (http://bit.ly/UQDGXL ) reports that the recent sweep led to 11 felony arrests, and the seizure of three guns, cash, cocaine, marijuana and other drugs.
The citywide sweep was a joint effort by Toledo police, the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the Adult Parole Authority.
In addition to the felony charges, authorities handed out 25 misdemeanor charges and 29 traffic citations.
