Nicotine Anonymous meets in Stow

Every Tuesday evening at the Methodist Church of Stow, 4880 Fishcreek Road, a group of individuals who want to quit smoking and live nicotine-free lives come together from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

There are no dues or fees for NicA membership the only requirement for membership is a desire to stop using nicotine.

NicA members meet in 38 countries, as well as by phone and via Internet meetings.

Support group for family, friends of those with drug addictions

Nar-Anon is a 12-step support group for families and friends of those with drug addictions.

There are no dues or fees to join. Just come to a meeting.

Attendees will hear others, who are going through similar problems, talk about how they cope and find recovery.

Meetings in Summit County take place every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the First Congregational Church, 85 Heritage Drive, in Tallmadge.
