Toastmasters meets every Wednesday

Toastmasters International meets in the Community Room at the Acme on Kent Road (Route 59) in Stow, every Wednesday at 7 p.m.

TBI monthly support group

Traumatic Brain Injury survivors and their families are invited to attend a free support group from 6 to 8 p.m. on the last Wednesday of each month.

The group, led by a brain injury survivor, meets at Mentis Neuro Rehabilitation, 3625 Marsh Road in Stow.

Junior Moms meets third Wednesday

Junior Moms of Stow and Adjacent Communities is a non-profit member-led social, service, and support group for mothers with at least one child from birth through kindergarten. The club meets on the third Wednesday of each month at On Tap Bar & Grille 4396 Kent Road, Stow at at 7 p.m. Babysitting is subject to availability. MOMS Club meets monthly

The Stow Chapter of MOMS Club (Moms Offering Moms Support) is a friendship and support group for the at-home mother of today. The group has a monthly activity calendar as well as a monthly newsletter and weekly updates. There are a wide variety of activities for kids of all ages including playgroups, field trips, charity work, kids crafts, potlucks and moms night out, and more.

The group has its monthly business meeting at 9:30 a.m. on the second Thursday of each month at Lifecenter Plus, 5133 Darrow Road, Hudson. Interested members are welcome to join the business meeting, contact the membership chair at stowmomsclub@yahoo.com or visit the website at www.stowmoms.com.

Investment Club meets at City Hall

The Wampum Investment Club meets the third Wednesday of every month from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Stow City Hall.

The club is one of 8,600 that belong to Better Investment (BI), a national organization. BI has 90,000 members. Of these, 67,000 belong to a local club. BI has 82 regional chapters.

The local club is a small group of individual investors who come together to learn, share investing experiences and help each other to become more successful investors.

A small monthly investment from each member is combined to buy, build and manage a portfolio of stocks.
